How to Make Magic Sidewalk Chalk Paint

Sidewalk chalk is such a fun activity for kids! We’ve taken traditional sidewalk chalk and added a little magic to it. With only a few ingredients, the kids can help you make it and they will have so much fun drawing with it!

Materials:
Mixing Bowl
Corn Starch
Baking Soda
1/2 Measuring Cup
Fork
Washable Paint
Squeeze Bottles
Spray Bottle
Vinegar

1. Add 1/2 cup of corn starch and 1/2 a cup of baking soda to the mixing bowl. Mix together with the folk.

2. Slowly start adding water to the mixture, and stir it until it becomes craft paint consistency.

3. Pour the craft paint into the mixture, and stir until the the whole thing is tinted that color.

4. Add the mixture to a squeeze bottle. Repeat the process for as many colors you want.

5. Create your sidewalk art with the squeeze bottle — then spray vinegar on the art. This will make the art bubble and foam up. Magic!
