How to Create a Cascading Waterfall of Balloons for a Very Modern Thanksgiving

When setting a table for Thanksgiving, it’s important to remember the rest of the room as well.

This year, we’re loving balloons - lots and lots of white balloons. Not just for birthdays, these party staples can be used to create a dramatic backdrop to any dinner party.

Materials:

  • Balloons, in various shades of White

  • 10 Helium Balloons, in various shades of White

  • Copper Wire

Instructions:

1. Blow up your balloons. Alternatively, you could call a party supply store and order balloons that have already been inflated.

2. String together your balloons with copper wire. Be creative. Leave spaces between balloons, bunch them up, and even add extra wires to have lengths hanging off in different directions.

3. Attach the helium balloons along the wire. You can bunch a few up where you want the most life, and then trail them along the rest of the wire. Make sure to leave a length at the end without any helium balloons attached, so that your balloon chain truly drapes like a waterfall.
