This Will Make Weeding a Garden Easy
Withered Beauty
Deadly beauty can be found everywhere this time of the year as grasses and flowers – eerie, evocative, and not to be left behind – have started to tell us that fall is here. Gather up these sticks and twigs with withered, faded petals and paint the mood of the All Hallows’ Eve. A spooky bouquet of mortal beauty found amongst the living … Mmmmwwahhhhhahahahaha.
Materials:
Flower vases – an assortment of small ones, or a larger vase to create one arrangement
Dried flowers, branches, twigs, seed pods, etc
Fresh dark-colored roses
Black spray paint
Tools:
Garden scissors for trimming to size
Rubber gloves to protect from spray paint
Instructions:
Take your fresh roses, one by one, in one (rubber-gloved) hand and spray it lightly with the black spray paint from the other hand.
Start to arrange an assortment of the dried flowers, mixing and matching to create a good balance.
Add in the now-dry black sprayed roses – that’s the creep factor.
Hint:
You can let the roses dry by standing them up in the vase while you are spraying the others.
