Here's How to Wrap That Odd-Shaped Gift
We’ve all been in that situation where you find the perfect gift for someone and then realize it’s almost impossible to wrap. That odd shape means as much as you try, you just can’t get the wrapping paper to look nice. Well, here’s a solution for you – wrap it in a pillowcase!
Materials:
Pillow case
Fabric Dye
String
Bucket
Hot water
Stitch Witch
Iron-On Letter
Tools:
Scissors
Iron
Instructions:
1. Accordion fold your pillowcase and tie it tightly with string.
2. Using hot water and fabric dye, and following the instructions on the fabric dye, submerge your tied pillowcases for 30 minutes.
3. Rinse the pillowcases thoroughly, wring them out, remove the string and let the pillowcases dry completely.
4. Lay the pillowcase out flat and cut the top two corners out of the pillowcase.
5. Overlap the strap halves by about 1” and use a little stitch witch and an iron to fasten the two ends together to create a tote bag.
6. Using one of the cut out corners, stitch witch on a pocket.
7. Iron on an initial to monogram your gift wrap.
8. Fill your tote bag with goodies!
