Take Charge at Dinner With Elegant Chalkboard Menus

Everybody loves to know what’s for dinner.  Don’t make them wait to find out! This craft enables you to spell it out right at their place settings.  Just take a charger and use a little chalkboard paint to write the menu out in chalk. How easy is that!?

Materials:

  • Chargers

  • Chalkboard paint

  • Fine sandpaper

  • Chalk

Tools:

  • Paintbrush (foam works best)

Instructions:

1. Using the well in the center as a guide, paint the chalkboard paint in a circle, let dry.

2. Sand to a smooth finish. Repeat.

3. Write out your menu in chalk.

Hint: You can also use a “chalkboard pen” for a finer finish.
