Emmy Rossum Plans to Add DIY Jewelry Pro to Her Resume

Actress Emmy Rossum has an impressive catalog of accolades to her name that would be enough to make plenty of people want to rest on their laurels.

From being cast to play the iconic female lead in the film adaptation of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ at the age of 16 to being a major force on the cast of hit television series ‘Shameless,’ Rossum could just stop trying now.

Well, it looks as though she has no plans of slowing down and decided to add the title of master jewelry crafter to her already packed list of accomplishments.

She posted this picture of herself on Instagram with the caption:

“This nerd is back in school. #lecole#lecolevancleefarpels”

‘L’Ecole’ is a school run by the luxury French jewelry brand Van Cleef & Arpels. The school’s website describes it as the ‘first school to shed the light on the hidden worlds of jewelry and watchmaking to the public.’

In addition to the photo, she also posted a video of her attempts at cutting silver.
