Bored IKEA Shopper’s Pun Prank Goes Viral
Those unavoidable trips to IKEA can be rough, especially for young couples. Marital experts say IKEA can be a lightning rod for relationships, IKEA meltdowns are a real thing, and we’ve even gone so far as to declare that if you want to get out of IKEA alive, you’d better have a survival plan.
But maybe the solution is to treat the whole thing as comedy. At least, we think so after watching fun-loving YouTuber Simonline’s hilarious viral video “Guy annoys girlfriend with puns at IKEA,” which has been viewed over 750,000 times since it was posted 10 days ago.
In the clip, he lets loose a stream of groan-worthy puns on everything from the Klampen cart (they’re really ‘Klampen’ down on prices!”) to the Bladis box. (Have you seen the toilet, my ‘Bladis’ full!)
It’s quite the pun-ishment (heh) for his bemused girlfriend, Donna, who continually yells, ‘Stop!’ but laughs along as they wind through the store.
