Blind Artist Creates Amazing GIFs to Show World Through His Eyes

When George RedHawk faced a sudden loss of his vision, rather than give into the new obstacle, he chose to start creating beautiful art in the form of mesmerizing gifs.

George RedHawk takes the commonplace gif (a brief animated image that usually plays in a loop) and creates something so stunning it is hard to believe he suffers from any sort of vision impairment.

He was featured in a profile on The Creator’s Project, where he explained the origin of his work. As his eyesight deteriorated, George was unable to carry on his career in the medical field. His vision took on a “morphing” quality and he was inspired to work with software to create a similar effect with photographs and artwork.

He posts new creations to his Google Plus Page under the name DarkAngelØne. The amazing work has unsurprisingly attracted thousands of followers, and amassed over 12 million views.
