Bjork's New Album Cover Features Stunning Work from Artist

Bjork is back! The musician’s new album Vulnicura is now available on iTunes, two months prior to the expected release date in March 2015. Some speculate that it may have been an online leak that prompted the artist to do so. Whatever the case, her fans now have music to voraciously consume, since they’ve had to wait around three years for new material. Her prior release from 2011, Biophilia, was a multimedia project that involved a full sensory experience. Biophilia was released in the form of an album, an app, an educational program, as well as a live experience. The new album continues the eclectic musician’s legacy of visually striking imagery with her beautiful costume, designed by Japanese milliner Maiko Takeda. The style of work was created as a part of Takeda’s degree show at London’s Royal College of Art. Here are some of Takeda’s other gorgeous pieces as a part of the collection.
