A $30,000 'Dream Doghouse' that Redefines Pampering Your Pet
How far are you willing to go to pamper your pet? Samsung has come out with a $30,000 Dream Doghouse that is betting on affluent dog owners who’ll want to find the best that the pet market has to offer for their four-legged friends.
The Samsung Dream Doghouse, called the “dog kennel of the future,” definitely caters to the tech enthusiasts who want their dog’s abode decked out in the latest gadgets. For the price equivalent of a mid-size car, your dog can have a house that includes a treadmill, an automated food dispenser, a hydrotherapy pool, and a Samsung tablet entertainment center. No detail was spared in attempting to create the ultimate in canine experiences. The treadmill belt is covered in AstroTurf to mimic the outdoors. The main kennel’s walls are covered in vinyl wallpaper that is full of images of other dogs. In the rear kennel, the Samsung tablet is mounted on the wall like a big screen television, and the surfaces are all upholstered in velour fabric.
Samsung took on this project as a part of their partnership with the 2015 Crufts Dog Show held in Birmingham, England.
