Not one to let his age get in the way, Torello, according to Chieti Today, was at school every morning by 5:00 am, studying hard for his final exams.

The graduate, who spent much of his life as a tailor, is a WWII army veteran and drew upon his life experience, including his time spent as a soldier during the war, to write the essays that helped garner him his graduation credits.

Earning top marks in both math and English, Torello was surrounded by his four children and six grandchildren to celebrate his impressive achievement.

According to the local news outlet. even the city’s mayor was present to congratulate the proud student on his graduation.

But Torello’s quest for knowledge doesn’t end here!

“I want to learn how to use a computer,” he says. “I will keep learning, because my time must always be full.”

He plans to enroll in secondary school, and to become more familiar with today’s technology.

This Italian proves that the mind of a Maker is ever churning and thirsting for knowledge, and that there is no time stamp on education.
