3 Simple Ways to Make Butter Even Better (Perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas!)

We can pretty much all agree on one simple fact — everything is better with butter! It’s hard to argue with that, and when you start to add flavor to your butter, the one ingredient you didn’t think could get any better, suddenly does.

What’s great about creating a flavored butter is that the possibilities are endless. Think of your favorite flavor combinations — from the classic garlic and herb to the festive cranberry, orange, and honey — and mix them in with softened, dreamy, creamy butter.

Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks softened butter

  • ½ cup whole cranberries

  • zest of 1 orange

Instructions:

1. Chop cranberries finely and zest the orange, then add them to the softened butter.

2. Add the honey and mix everything well with a fork. It’s important to completely incorporate your ingredients into the butter, so you achieve a spreadable mixture.

3. Scoop the mixture onto the middle of a piece of plastic wrap, and roll the butter tightly into a log or tube shape, twisting the ends of the wrap to achieve a tight seal. Refrigerate overnight.

Date and Fig Butter
