3 Perfect Last-Minute Costumes for Halloween Procrastinators
Not everyone has the time or energy to come up with intricate and elaborate Halloween costumes. In fact, many don’t have much interest in it either. That’s why it’s great to come across a few quick, simple and inexpensive options that suggest you’re still in the spirit of things, even if you didn’t turn yourself into a giant bowl of Fruit Loops.
Zipper Face
This one’s gory but fantastic - and it’s oh-so-simple to create! All you need is a zipper, some eyelash glue and a bit of face paint, and you’ll be zipped up and ready to go this Halloween.
Materials:
12 -18” Zipper, skin tone
Adhesive for skin (false eyelash glue)
Red and brown Face Paint
Fake Blood
Tools:
Sponge
Small Paint Brush
Instructions:
1. Paint a “bloody” diamond shape from the top of your nose, widest at your mouth/chin line, and tapering off down your throat.
2. Apply skin adhesive to the outer edge of the bloody patch.
3. Beginning from your forehead, glue on the open zipper, bringing the ends to a ‘close’ on the throat, and let it dry a bit.
4. Add face powder to blend the zipper with your skin as best as you can.
Baby Salt ‘n Pepper Shakers
If you have twins or find yourself out and about on Halloween with a friend who also has an infant, these baby salt and pepper costumes are just the ticket.
You’ll be happy to know they’re really easy to make, because, let’s face it, when you have a little one on your hands, you probably don’t have much spare time for custom costume crafting.

2 Shower Caps
Iron-on Letters ’S’ and ‘P’

Instructions:
1. Iron on the ’S’ on to the white onesie.
2. Iron on the ‘P’ on to the dark onesie.
3. Draw little black dots all over the shower cap as the shaker ‘lid’.
