A Whistle They Want to Wear

No kid wants to wear a boring whistle - they want fun! Add a decorative ribbon and they won’t leave home without it!

Materials:

  • Whistle

  • Decorative Ribbon

Tools:

  • Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut a length of ribbon for child’s size.

2. String the ribbon through the whistle’s loop.

3. Tie in a knot or bow.

Secret Money Stash

You always want to make sure your child has a little cash on hand, just in case of emergency. Make them a secret hiding place for it, so they always feel secure.

Materials:

  • Chapstick tube

  • Cash

Tools:

  • Paper towel

Instructions:

1. Roll up the chapstick to the end so that it falls out -be sure to hold on to the cap.

2. Clean off the waxy residue left in the tube with a paper towel.

3. Fold your cash in half length wise and roll it up very tightly.

4. Slide the money into the tube and replace the cap.

Info Tattoo

Little ones don’t always have the best memories for things like their phone number or address. Create an info “tattoo,” so they’ll always be in-the-know.

  • Washable Marker

  • Liquid Bandage

Instructions:

1. Write your child’s contact phone number or address on their hand or arm.

2. Paint a liquid bandage over the writing to protect and keep it from washing off until you want it to.
