From Good Housekeeping

Zooey Deschanel knows how to keep herself busy. During quarantine, the former New Girl star tells Good Housekeeping she has been getting creative with craft projects, including everything from hand-sewn kid's clothing to DIY home decor (Zooey has even partnered with the smart cutting machine brand Cricut to elevate her designs).

In the video above, you'll see Zooey talk about her love for french fries and pancakes, but there's nothing she likes better than an epic craft session. In fact, she enjoys crafting so much, she revealed in our exclusive interview that she used to have crafting and sewing parties that lasted three days. "I have kids now, so I can't have that that kind of epic crafting party, but I really enjoy being able to finish a project ... so crafternoon is a good word for it, but wouldn't it be great to have a whole craft weekend to finish a project?"

She admits one of her favorite things to create is a homemade gift. "[I] think about what somebody really likes and what would make them smile," she says.
