Zendaya’s success is nothing new. Ever since her run on Disney’s Shake It Up!, the actress has been absolutely killing it, starring in major movies from the latest Spider-Man trilogy to The Greatest Showman. Of course, her recent projects like Dune, Euphoria, and Malcolm & Marie have a lot to do with her increasing stardom, too. Zendaya is everywhere right now and we’re *perfectly* cool with that.

All of this success has made Zendaya very lucrative, meaning she’s rich... like really rich. And considering she’s been in the spotlight since 2009, it’s safe to say that she has a pretty hefty net worth by now.

Zendaya has been making money since she was a little girl. Before becoming the actress she is today, Zendaya got her start modeling and dancing. She was once even in an ad for toys inspired by Nickelodeon’s iCarly. Zendaya also appeared as a backup dancer in a Sears commercial that starred Selena Gomez, and in a music video for the Kidz Bop version of Katy Perry’s “Hot n Cold.”

But Zendaya’s big break came in 2010 when she landed the role of Rocky Blue in Disney Channel’s Shake It Up. That role opened up the door for all future acting opportunities — after Shake It Up, Zendaya starred in several Disney Channel movies, including Frenemies and Zapped. In 2014, she also landed the lead role of K.C. Cooper in another Disney Channel original series called K.C. Undercover.

In July 2017, Zendaya made her debut on the big screen when she was cast as MJ Jones in the feature film Spider-Man: Homecoming. The film grossed $880 million worldwide, which means Z probably earned a hefty cut. That same year, she co-starred in the musical drama The Greatest Showman, and in 2019, reprised her MJ role in Spiderman: Far From Home. The Tom Holland and Zendaya-led Spidey trilogy wrapped with 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which became the third-highest-grossing film at the domestic box office, according to Deadline, earning $760.988 million as of February 2022.

Of course, Zendaya also stars as Rue in the HBO series Euphoria. The show was a huge hit in its first season and drew an even larger audience for its season 2 run, which aired between January and February 2022. The sophomore season finale drew 6.6 million total viewers, according to Variety, while the entire season averaged 16.3 million viewers. The outlet reported that the drama series is the most-watched show on HBO since 2004, trailing behind Game of Thrones, and is the most-tweeted-about show of the last decade.

Season 3 has officially been green-lit, although production has not yet begun at East Highland High. But it’s been reported that Z has negotiated her salary for the new season and it’s MAJOR. According to The Los Angeles Times, the actress will earn $1 million per (!) episode (!) for Euphoria season 3 which, per the outlet, would make her one of the youngest and highest-paid actors in showbiz.

Z’s acting career certainly doesn’t stop there, though. In 2021, she appeared in the film adaptation of the science fiction series Dune and will reprise her role as Chani in Dune: Part II (which is slated for a November 2023 release). According to ShowBizGalore.com, Zendaya earned $300,000 for her brief but meaningful part in the movie, and considering the fact she has a larger role in the sequel film, her paycheck will probably be much higher. She also stars in the tennis-centric film Challengers, which is scheduled to hit theaters in August 2023. There are even rumors circulating about a fourth Spider-Man movie, but there has been no confirmation on whether Z will be involved.

Aside from scripted TV, Zendaya has also tried reality television. She participated as a guest judge on several seasons of Project Runway and she also competed on the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars.

But acting isn’t her only source of income. Shortly after Zendaya made her debut as an actress, she also branched out into music. In 2011, she released her first singles called “Swag It Out” and “Watch Me,” featuring Bella Thorne. She continued dropping singles until she released her self-titled debut album in 2013. The lead single off that album was “Replay.” Though she’s dropped a bunch of singles, Zendaya has yet to produce a second studio album. In 2019, she recorded “All for Us” with Labrinth for Euphoria, and sang alongside Euphoria costar Dominic Fike’s and Labrinth for season 2’s “Elliot’s Song” and “I’m Tired.” You can find these tracks and all her older music on streaming services, which means she’s still earning some checks from her music career.

We’re not done yet! Zendaya has also solidified herself as a style and beauty icon — she’s landed several brand deals for various beauty and lifestyle companies, including CoverGirl, Chi Hair Care, Lancôme, and Smartwater. She’s also starred in a commercial for Beats By Dr. Dre Color and the toy brand, Mattel, even honored Z with her own Barbie doll in 2015. Iconic.

Zendaya has worked on some of her own products, as well. In 2013, she put out a debut book titled Between U and Me: How to Rock Your Tween Years with Style and Confidence. Three years later, in 2016, she introduced a clothing line called “Daya by Zendaya,” however, it’s no longer available. But she took the fashion game to the next level when she collaborated on a line with Tommy Hilfiger in 2019 and starred in Valentino’s Pink Campaign in Fall of 2022.

Finally, Zendaya's got her real estate. Back in 2017, she paid $1.4 million for a home in Los Angeles. But in March 2020, she more than doubled that cost paying $4 million for another L.A. home that includes six bedrooms, a guest house, and a spa, according to The Daily Mail. Most recently, in August 2021, Zendaya closed on a $4.9 million waterfront condo in Brooklyn, according to Architectural Digest. The home is Z’s first New York City residence.

So, what does all of this hard work amount to? A whole lot of cash. Zendaya’s net worth is estimated to be $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth and she’s only 26, so at this rate, she’s probably going to take over the world by 30.
