Zendaya Is the Star of Bruno Mars' Super Trippy 'Versace on the Floor' Video

Who can forget the time Zendaya proved herself a pretty impressive Bruno Mars impersonator when she performed "24K Magic" on Lip Sync Battle from earlier this summer? The Spider-Man actress pulled out all the stops: The outfit! The hair! The spot-on, signature Bruno dance moves! Her rendition was transformative, to say the least, and confirmed that she's a massive fan of Mr. Mars. (I mean, who isn't?) Well, the appreciation is mutual, it seems. Zendaya has now graduated from Bruno Mars impersonator to Bruno Mars video star.
The 31-year-old singer premiered his video for "Versace on the Floor" Sunday night during the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, and it stars—wait for it—Zendaya. And we're living for it.
The video is five-and-a-half minutes of trippy, sparkly goodness. It opens with Zendaya and Bruno giving each other SeXy~* glances in front of their adjacent hotel rooms. Things escalate from there. (TBH, this intro feels very similar to Britney Spears's iconic commercial for her fragrance, Curious, and I will literally die and go to heaven if that's not a coincidence.) Zendaya spends the entire video dancing in her posh hotel room as Bruno loudly plays "Versace on the Floor" on the piano next door. (Sidebar: What bougie hotel room has a piano in the middle of it?! That's the definition of l-u-x-u-r-y.)
This reveal is further proof Zendaya was the star of the 2017 TCAs: Earlier in the evening, she gave a very inspiring speech about youth empowerment while accepting the award for Choice Movie Actress. Shortly after, she took to Instagram to share the news of her star turn in Mars' latest video. "When the flyest man out here calls you for one of the flyest songs out..you make it happen," she wrote{: rel=nofollow}. Indeed.
