For anyone in New York City right now, this weather calls for a super soft onesie, even if you have to be seen in public. And Zendaya agrees. The actress, singer, and newly minted designer stepped out in a super soft looking velvet jumpsuit.
The forest green one-piece is from her collection, Daya by Zendaya, and she rocked it on the way to her Good Morning America appearance on Tuesday morning. On the designer’s website the Oversized Velvet Jumpsuit is labeled as “Zendaya’s Pick,” which she clearly demonstrated strutting the city streets in it. It retails for $68.
The jumpsuit is made of long pile plush velvet and has five welt pockets, long sleeves and a hidden placket closure. The description asserts that it’s meant for men and women.
She dressed up the super comfortable ensemble with a pair of black leather pointy-toed boots and layered choker necklaces. And she looked fierce.
We’d probably rock slippers and a mug of hot cocoa with it, but that’s just us.
She changed before appearing on the talk show but stuck with her own design. She also stuck with the jumpsuit aesthetic, but took it in a totally different direction. Wearing her line’s Tuxedo Romper ($68), which has shiny lapels and pockets, she looked super sophisticated. She kept the boots and necklaces.
She told Good Morning America that she’s really into “comfortable luxury” these days — and it shows.
