The Teen Choice Awards are hardly our go-to when it comes to seeking out style inspiration. But at last night’s 2019 TCAs in Hermosa Beach, California, there was one ensemble that totally spoke to us.
Zendaya, the 22-year-old Euphoria star, donned a yellow and white plaid short-sleeve collared shirt and pistachio colored leather short-shorts with exposed pockets, both from Jacquemus’s spring/summer 2020 collection.
She looks very camp counselor chic, no? The Jacquemus look isn’t available just yet, so we have plenty of time to save up for those must-have leather shorts. Bless.
The Disney alum paired the straight-off-the-runway outfit (remember Jacquemus’s dreamy lavender field ready-to-wear runway show earlier this summer?) with white pointed-toe Le Silla Eva 120mm pumps ($579), which she wore earlier this year to promote Spider-Man: Far from Home on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She also rocked some very affordable (ahem, $38) BaubleBar Sophea pearl hoop earrings that feature lustrous keshi pearls.
But it wasn’t just her picnic-ready outfit that screamed campfires and s’mores.
Zendaya kept with the camp theme and wore her hair in a loose braid that hung down to her lower back. It was basically an IRL take on Elsa's Frozen ’do—and cue the hair jealousy.
We know it’s only summer 2019, but we definitely know what we’ll be wearing come next summer…Thanks for the future outfit inspo, Zendaya.
