Zendaya Is Living for This Girl's Perfect Copycat Prom Dress
When Janaya Taylor, an 18-year-old from Gramercy, Louisiana, spotted the gold sequined gown Zendaya wore to the 2016 Met Gala on Twitter, she knew she wanted a similar dress for this year's prom. So the Lutcher High School senior turned to New Orleans-based designer Korebelle Jeffreys and had a version custom-made. The result? FLAWLESS.

"I fell in love with Zendaya's dress," Janaya told Seventeen.com. "It was just the color and the style with the one-shoulder."
Korebelle recreated the gown from a screenshot Janaya provided. Once Janaya selected her fabric, she says the dress took about a week to create and cost $425.
Here's Zendaya rocking the original Michael Kors design last May.
And here's Janaya slaying her prom's red carpet on March 25.
Her cousin, Jontre Kirklin, even bought a glitzy jacket and bowtie to match.
Janaya has been a fan of the star for a while now.
"I like how she inspires young people, and I follow her on Snapchat to keep up with her," Janaya said.
Zendaya keeps up with social media, too: After noticing that Janaya tagged her in a Twitter photo showing the dress, Z retweeted her.

"I was driving when I saw [the notification] come across my phone," Janaya explained. "When I saw it, I just started screaming."
