There’s nothing like a front-row seat at Michael Kors’s New York Fashion Week show to make a girl feel like a superstar. In Zendaya‘s case, she also happened to feel like the world’s sportiest detective.

The Greatest Showman star took a lighthearted approached to her sporty-chic ensemble, designed by Kors, for Wednesday’s event. Of her sleeveless khaki trench worn over a cherry-red track suit, Zendaya quipped, “When you got the gym at 4, but gotta investigate some s*** at 5.”

Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan was quick to chime in with a sartorial reference, commenting that the look was giving him “Carmen Sandiego vibes.”

He should have seen the glossy red trench Zendaya’s fellow front-row fixture, Blake Lively, was sporting at the same Kors show. While Zendaya’s twist on the classic trench certainly has a certain crime-fighting je ne sais quoi, that red tracksuit is pure Chas Tenenbaum — as in the athleisure-obsessed character that Ben Stiller played in The Royal Tenenbaums.

If anyone can make that look work — with white pumps, no less — it’s Zendaya. To quote Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, who also surfaced in the former Disney Channel star’s mentions: “Good caption for an even better outfit.”
