Zendaya Films Her Step-By-Step Makeup Tutorial
Zendaya is a true beauty whether she's entirely makeup free, all glammed up on the red carpet, or rocking cotton-candy pink hair. With her new YouTube beauty series, though, we're getting even more insight into Zendaya's beauty routine — and her latest video, she gives us a close look at "The Bare Beat," or her favorite, low-key makeup look. In the video, Zendaya takes us through her routine, calling her out her favorite products, tricks, and tips to look "popping and fierce with minimal products, quickly," as she says in the video (sign us up).
If you watch the quick video above, you'll see it takes Zendaya about ~three minutes to not only do her "full face," but also explain to us how and what she's using in the process. To get the look, Zendaya starts by layering concealer and translucent powder, and then focuses on all things "shiny" as that's what she's "personally attracted to," followed by powder, bronzer, cream blush, highlighter, and fiber mascara. Her secret weapon, though, is Aquaphor, which she uses on her lips for a bit of shine, as well as on her cheekbones to give the prettiest finish to her highlight. Throughout the tutorial, she stresses that you can use your fingers to apply most of the products (as she does), and that everything fits perfectly into a tiny makeup bag.
The result is entirely effortless, glowing, and has me just ever so curious as to how Zendaya does the rest of her makeup looks (like the super-glam makeup she occasionally does herself on the carpet). Z, if you see this, let me know!
