Zac Efron Is Dating Halston Sage, and It's 'Serious'
Swimmer Sarah Bro's time as Zac Efron's rumored girlfriend quietly and secretly came to an end...but Efron isn't on the market either (sorry to everyone hoping to date Efron or rooting for a Efron-Vanessa Hudgens reconciliation now that she's single). Us Weekly reports that the 31-year-old actor is now dating 26-year-old actress Halston Sage. The two starred in Neighbors together, so they have a working history and apparently a romantic one too. Sage and Efron were rumored to be dating in April 2014 but any talk of that ended by July.
The timing is right these days though because this is no causal fling. Us Weekly's source said the two “are in a serious relationship and in love. They spent the holidays together, with part of that time in Santa Barbara.”
Sage and Efron haven't posted anything about their dating on social media. They do follow each other on Instagram though, which is a start.
Sage most recently liked Efron's November 26, 2019 Instagram. She also liked his steamy sauna one, because why wouldn't she? Generally, she has liked his posts regularly but not every single one. He hasn't liked any of her recent posts, a testament to how secret they've kept their relationship.
So what happened to Bro and Efron, last year's quiet athletic couple? Distance and time killed their spark, a source told Us Weekly. “The relationship just wasn’t working out,” a source told Us. “She came back to L.A., and it never got going again.”
