Yup, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Were the Hottest Couple at Tonight's Met Gala

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been killing the red carpet game lately. The recently married couple won the premiere of Avengers: Endgame two weeks ago, even though neither of them are in the film, and they just hit photo gold again at the 2019 Met Gala. Hemsworth and Cyrus were both invited to the event, natch, and they ascended the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art hand in hand.

Given the night's opulent theme, "Camp: Notes on Fashion," what Cyrus opted to wear is surprisingly low-key (but chic): a geometric, sparkly green dress by Saint Laurent. Hemsworth also kept things simple with an all-black tuxedo. Nevertheless, both he and Cyrus looked fire. So fire, in fact, that I'm dubbing them the hottest couple at the Met Gala.

I know what you're thinking: "But Chris! Them? They didn't even go next-level with the theme!"And to that I say Liam Hemsworth could wear a trash bag to the Met Gala and he'd still be the hottest person there. Miley Cyrus, meanwhile, is an icon and therefore looks gorgeous no matter what she wears. So there! There's your proof these two are the hottest couple of the night.

If you still need convincing, though, just check out the photos of them. Don't look for too long because it's like staring into the sun.

Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot in December 2018, and it looks like their first few months of married life have been a blast. In January, one month after saying "I do," Cyrus wrote Hemsworth a tribute, which she posted to Instagram.

" I love how you’ll sit and listen to me pluck out a new tune on the guitar for hours…. I love the way you mumble out loud when you read a new script or book," she wrote. "I love how you learn and grow. I love writing songs about you on the piano. I love how you let ME be ME."
