Fact: There are two kinds of humans in the world. Those who LOVE purple and those who don't. There is no in-between.
And as (secret) purple megafan, I fully appreciate Apple's latest colorway launch for their iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. It's their purpliest purple phone yet—sorry, I'm drooling.
Unlike the iPhone 11's version of the color, Apple's 2021 purple is a more saturated, candy-like hue. Alsoooooo, it maybe happens to match the purple sweatsuit I've been wearing for months, the purple fanny I attached myself to last summer, and all the future purple accessories I will probably buy to coordinate with this phone. I mean, look at her!
What I'm trying to say is, if you're a purple freak (shall we start a club?) and you're due for an iPhone upgrade or just want to treat yourself, this is the universe telling you to make it happen.
Besides the color, which we've established is enough for me, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini have a leveled-up camera for better quality pics and videos (Night mode! It's here!), something called an A14 Bionic chip that makes it speedier than older models, and that VIP 5G network. So, yes, there are other benefits besides looking cute, I guess.
