You’re Not Imagining It—Everyone Wore Barbie Pink Valentino This Weekend

Nothing like fuchsia to spice up the red carpet. If you even glanced at your Explore tab over the weekend, you probably saw your favorite celebrity in hot pink Valentino, and that's not a coincidence. During Paris Fashion Week, Valentino's autumn 2022–winter 2023 collection featured a number of pieces in a bright pink hue called Pink PP, developed with Pantone exclusively for Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, per Vogue, and it's clear that the gambit has been a hit in Hollywood.

Not one but two stars, Lana Condor and Vanessa Hudgens, wore hot pink Valentino looks to the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards, while Lizzo hit up an FYC screening of her Amazon show in another Barbie-fied ensemble.

“Pink Is Always The Move,” wrote Condor, and we couldn't agree more. As Elle Woods once said, “Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed,” and we hold that person in our thoughts and prayers.

But it's not just this weekend. The past few months, the collection is ev-er-y-where. Billy Porter looked pretty in pink at the Grammys, as did Saweetie.

Ariana Grande looked like an adorable piece of bubblegum at a launch event for her beauty brand, wearing Valentino, natch:

Back in May, budding fashionista Kiernan Shipka wore a pink Valentino minidress embellished with flowers, which she matched to actual flowers in her room.

In March, Bridgerton breakout Simone Ashley lit up the BAFTAs in pink.

As did her costar Nicola Coughlan!

Zendaya, of course, tried out the trend for herself, at the very show where the collection was launched:

Gigi Hadid put her spin on the color with a monochrome outfit. (Is there some rule that none of these celebrities are allowed to add another color? Or is it just that pink is hard to match? Hmm!)
