'Young and the Restless' Actor Michael Graziadei Proposes to Girlfriend on 'The Talk'

The actor surprised his girlfriend 10 years with a proposal for her birthday.

The Young and the Restless actor Michael Graziadei had the ultimate birthday gift for his girlfriend of a decade, Lauren Carey.

While appearing on The Talk with his cast members, Camryn Grimes, Bryton James and Christel Khalil, to celebrate the soap opera's 50th anniversary, Graziadei asked Carey to come on stage from the audience.

He introduced her to the crowd, saying, "This is my beautiful girlfriend, Lauren."

Graziadei went on, "We've spent the better half of 10 years together...She's given me beautiful twins, and I just wanted to do something special for your birthday."

The actor emotionally told Carey, "So I was thinking, you know, how there is no one on this earth that I would rather grow old and die with."

As he pulled a ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee, he said, "So, I was wondering, if you would marry me?" The crowd cheered as Carey said, "Yes," with a smile, before kissing him.

Afterward, Carey turned to Graziadei's cast members, saying, "I guess I can thank you two for this 'cause he can afford the ring now."

The hosts of The Talk looked at the engagement ring and asked Carey if she saw it coming: "I mean it's been 10 years, so I figured it was never gonna happen."

The couple already share twin boys, Oliver Bear and Arlo Wilde, who turn two years old in August.

Both The Talk and Graziadei shared the moment on Instagram in a joint post, writing, "We’re honored to have been a part of such a special moment @goodgriefcharliebrown 💜💍," which is the Young and Restless star's Instagram handle.

Both friends and fans congratulated the couple in the comments, happy to share the exciting moment with them as they take the next step in their relationship.
