  • Bachelorette Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes have officially broken up after getting engaged in the reality dating show's season 17 finale.

  • The couple just called off their six-month engagement, which aired live on ABC back in August.

  • Katie and Blake announced the news in matching Instagram posts.

Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette ended in early August with a three-hour season finale filled with twists, turns, and plenty of uncomfortable moments. (Katie and Greg Grippo's super heated ATFR argument, the awkward breakup that Justin Glaze never saw coming, random audience members holding boomboxes over their heads... the list goes on.)

The finale also saw Katie's family members grill finalist Blake Moynes on his intentions with Katie and point out that Blake living in Canada and Katie living in the U.S. wouldn't be easy. Katie's aunt seemed the most skeptical—her interrogation of Blake wouldn't look out of place in a Law and Order episode.

But at the end of it all, Katie wrapped filming one week early and rode off on horseback with fiancè Blake into the New Mexico sunset—literally. Although it's only been a few months since Katie's season was filmed, there's one question everyone is asking: are they still together?

Here's everything you need to know about Katie, Blake, and their whirlwind off-screen romance.

Katie and Blake are no longer engaged.

It's true—as of Oct. 25, the couple has officially split. Katie and Blake called off their engagement just six months after they got engaged on Bachelorette at the end of April. The pair recently announced the news in matching Instagram posts:

"It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways," both Katie and Blake captioned their posts. "We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently."

"We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition," they continued. "Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision."

The split makes Katie and Blake's post-show relationship one of the shortest in Bachelorette history, according to Instagram account @bachelordata:

(Maybe Katie's aunt was right to be a little concerned?)

Bachelor Nation's reactions are all over the place.

Katie's comments were filled with plenty of well-wishes from fellow Bachelor franchise faces. Clare Crawley left a "♥️," while Bachelor in Paradise alum Tammy Ly wrote, "sending you so much love 🤍🤍🤍."

And, Tara Kelly (that musician/audience member who made out with contestant Connor Brennan on Katie's After The Final Rose episode) commented, "sending love your way Katie ❤️❤️."

But fans on Twitter had some questions. "So Katie and Blake have broken up, was this incredibly recent or should we expect Blake to crash Michelle's season at some point? #TheBachelorette," one user asked. TBD on any Blake and Michelle Young-related spoilers from Reality Steve, but you might want to stay tuned, just in case.

And, someone else Tweeted that runner-up Justin Glaze's famous side-eye was really all the reaction needed:

As far as Katie's other beaus from the show, contestant Andrew Spencer (the hunky football player with a pretty decent British accent) originally said he'd be open to picking up with the former Bachelorette where they left off. But, months later, that 'ship has sailed.

“That chapter is closed for everyone in my DMs asking. I wish them both well," he explained on social media, per Us Weekly.

Hmm. Either way, this cross-country engagement is off for good—and Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes are back on the market. Maybe we'll see them again on the next Bachelor in Paradise season?
