Earlier this year, Costner won the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his role in Yellowstone. He and Christine were unable to attend due to the flooding near their home in California. When he received the award in the mail, he explained how Christine made the night of the ceremony special for their family as they celebrated together at home.

This has been a tumultuous year for Costner. The Oscar-winning actor has been at the center of speculation surrounding the future of Yellowstone. According to reports, filming for the second half of season five has stalled due to a dispute over his contract. Costner's attorney Marty Singer has spoken out against the claims, saying, "The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone is an absolute lie. It’s ridiculous— and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second."
