'Yellowstone' Fans Are Spiraling Over a Huge Mystery in the New Season 4 Trailer

Yellowstone fans are officially in countdown mode! After months of speculation, Paramount Network finally announced the release date for season 4 of the most watched drama on cable, and fans are beside themselves with excitement.

The show will return on November 7 with not one but two brand-new episodes. The announcement was made in a short video posted to the show's official Instagram account on August 19. The video shows patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) bleeding on the side of the road after being shot, as a murder of crows circles ominously. The screen cuts to black, and a voice says, "We're at war, you and me."

Always up for a challenge, the show's loyal fans took to the comments section to speculate on the ever-important question: "Whose voice is that?"

The post has garnered nearly 14,000 comments, including some from celebrities. Kevin Costner commented on the post but offered no clues. He simply wrote, "Let's get to work." Costar Hassie Harrison (who plays barrel racer Laramie) said, "Can it be November already?!?! 🔥😍." Actress Angie Harmon chimed in with the words everyone is thinking: "Rip gone kill EREBODY!! 👏👏👏👏," and sportscaster Erin Andrews contributed, "GUYS!!!!!!!! I can't wait!"

But the real debate took place between viewers who couldn't agree on who is speaking in the video. Some were convinced that it's Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley): "That sounds like Jamie's voice!!!"

Many feel strongly that it's Jamie's biological dad, Garrett Randall (Will Patton). One industrious fan did some research: "It's Jamie's real father's voice. I had to go back and listen to previous episodes to compare. Definitely him." Others agreed: "He's played by Will Patton. Very distinctive voice."

Other viewers pointed to Mo (Moses J. Brings Plenty): "I thought it sounded like Mo, Rainwater's righthand man, but could be wrong."

More fans jumped in with less popular guesses, including Monica's therapist (Martin Sensmeier), Monica's grandfather (Rudy Ramos), or one of the Beck brothers (both of whom died in season 2).

Of course, the more important question might be: "Who is this person talking to?" We're hoping all will be revealed on November 7.
