It’s only a matter of weeks until Yellowstone starts back up again with season 5. But fans are already getting a taste of what will likely go down between Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Jamie (Wes Bentley).

Last winter, the Paramount Network drama ended on an intense note when the season 4 finale showed Jamie killing his biological dad—a decision he made to save his own reputation. After Beth’s ultimatums left the lawyer with blood on his hands, she snapped a picture of him getting rid of the body. “You should have picked options one or two ‘cause you’re f--king mine now,” Beth told Jamie on the show.

If Yellowstone’s official Instagram has been dropping clues of what’s going to happen next in new season 5 episodes, the latest post doesn’t sound promising for Jamie. “You’re going to ruin everything aren’t you?” Jamie asks Beth in a recent Instagram clip featuring an old scene.

Unsurprisingly, she didn’t have the kindest response to her older half-brother. But in a twist of events, Yellowstone fans are now beginning to side with Jamie.

“I might be the only NON Jamie hater. 👏,” one person wrote in the show’s comments section. “I think Jaime gets too much hate. He’s not an antagonist, just a conflicted character,” another added. “I’m starting to feel sorry for poor Jaime,” a different fan said.

That said, there was still support for Beth’s boldness. “I like her and she doesn't even hold back!!! 😂,” someone else quipped. “I absolutely LOVE Beth ♥️🙌🏼♥️🙌🏼♥️ Can’t wait for season 5!!!!!!” another wrote.

According to actress Kelly Reilly, who plays the Dutton family’s businesswoman, Beth will have John (Kevin Costner)’s full support in the upcoming season.

“There’s a bit of the early dynamic coming back into the show, of them having to work together,” she told TV Guide. “[Beth and John] are using Jamie to put things through that they wouldn’t be able to do. They need him working for the family. It’s like working for the mob.”

So, it sounds like Beth and John won’t make it easy for Jamie to redeem himself.
