Paramount series may be in big trouble after 10 members of cast boycott fan event.

Fans of Paramount's hit Western series found themselves in the middle of the drama at Saturday night's much-hyped, sold-out PaleyFest panel for Yellowstone.

Many who flew in or drove hours to see their favorite stars were disappointed when 10 high-profile names on the guest list failed to show at the panel.

The original list of attendees included creator Taylor Sheridan, executive producer David Glasser and cast members Kevin Costner (John Dutton), Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton), Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton), Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton), Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater) and Jacki Weaver (Caroline Warner). None showed.

Instead, fans only got to see Josh Lucas (young John Dutton), Wendy Moniz (Lynelle Perry), Mo Brings Plenty (Mo) and Dawn Olivieri (Sarah Atwood). Paramount Development Director Keith Cox also attended but didn't speak on the carpet.

The audience booed and some walked out when they learned that the promised talent wouldn't be attending.

They immediately took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

"Will there be refunds for #yellowstone #PaleyFest we drove two hours to the cast you said would be here. What a joke and rip off," @james79766926 tweeted.

"I want a refund #PaleyFest #yellowstone utah to California with no main cast
@DolbyTheatre Hollywood. The cost to fly out stay at a hotel and to eat was not worth the show. #Ineedtobecompt @Yellowstone #paleyfest," @Sylvia00076212 also tweeted.

Despite no-shows from the cast due to (ahem) "scheduling conflicts," Cox told the crowd that he’s “very confident” Costner is still committed to the series.

The cast in attendance confirmed that production for Season 5, Part 2, which was scheduled to air in Summer 2023, has not yet begun and they have not been given a start date.
