Yara Shahidi Brought Back Her Beautiful Unibrow for the 2018 Emmy Awards

Yara Shahidi prepped for the 2018 Emmys by getting her hair, makeup, and nails done ahead of the event. But there was one beauty treatment she notably decided to skip this year: getting her eyebrows waxed.

The Grown-ish star hit the gold carpet on Monday night with her unibrow on full display, proving just how gorgeous the au naturel look can be. She wore her natural curls pulled into a topknot, and complemented her pink Gucci gown with eye shadow and lipstick in the same rosy shade.

This isn't the first time we've seen Shahidi's unibrow make a red carpet appearance, and she's written in the past about how much she loves this part of her look. Last year, she had to wax the center of her brows for her role as Zoey on Grown-ish but took to Instagram in September 2017 to share how much she was going to miss her unibrow when it was waxed off. "Unibrow appreciation post ⚡️ had to get rid of it as I transition into Zoey for #Grownish .... you will be missed my friend... #TheyWillReturn ⚡️," she wrote alongside a photo of herself from the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. In the last few months, she's shown off her unibrow in countless selfies, proving that it has, as promised, returned.

At a time when bushy, brushed-out brows are more popular than ever (thank you, universe), Shahidi takes things one step further by embracing her natural look to its fullest. To keep hers looking so flawless on an everyday basis, she reportedly relies on Glossier Boy Brow. That, plus a little bit of mascara and lip gloss, and she and her stunning single eyebrow are ready to take on the world.
