Yang predicts Trump's nickname for him

Entrepreneur Andrew Yang spoke to POLITICO Wednesday as part of a series of interviews with Democrats seeking to challenge President Donald Trump in 2020.

In addition to discussing his signature universal basic income plan, he answered some lighter fare.

Yang guessed what he thinks President Donald Trump might nickname him.

Comrade Yang. Because it's a little racist, a little socialist, communist.

Say something nice about Trump or what he's done as president.

I think President Trump correctly called out many of the problems that are facing the American people. And I also do not think it's a bad thing to engage with leaders that we don't agree with. I think that sometimes those sorts of engagements can lead to very positive results.

"Most likely to..."

Joe Biden: "Be the town lifeguard.”

Bernie Sanders: “Lead a commune.”

Elizabeth Warren: "Become a law school professor."

Kamala Harris: “Succeed.”

Pete Buttigieg: "Make someone feel monolingual.”

Andrew Yang: "Be president of the United States!"

If you had to go on a road trip with one of the other 2020 Democrats, who would it be and why?

I would choose Joe Biden because I think he'd have incredible stories to tell.

Do you have any tattoos? If not, what would you get?

I was never cool enough to get a tattoo. It's one of my real regrets. To the extent I came close, it would be a Chinese character on my left tricep. I think that would make me look hard.

Who is your favorite comedian?

Dave Chappelle. I think he had a real impact on me during that Chappelle's Show era and I saw him perform live. He’s excellent.

What were the discarded names for the “Freedom Dividend”?

Social Security For All.

Universal Basic Income.

The Prosperity Dividend.

The Opportunity Dividend.

There were several others we tested that didn't make the grade. Freedom dividend was the clear winner because Americans like freedom.
