Xbox and Lucasfilm Celebrate 'The Mandalorian' Season 3's Launch with Special Consoles and Controller

Today, March 1, The Mandalorian returned for its highly-anticipated third season. In celebration of the debut, Xbox has teamed up with Lucasfilm to create special The Mandalorian gear. Unique editions of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S have been produced, as has a specially-themed controller.

Din Djarin, the show's titular character, makes an appearance on the Series X, dressed in full battle regalia and presented in a noir-style black and white finish. Grogu, better known to pop culture as "Baby Yoda," takes up residence on the Series S, which is presented in black and green with a custom illustration of its own. Grogu's also responsible for the controller's inspiration: it's dressed in a similar shade of green to the console, and even comes with its own sherpa hoodie. Though it's not pictured, the consoles and controller are accompanied by a life-sized take on Grogu's famous pram. Dubbed the "Pram XL," it's a fully functional gaming station with massaging cushions, cupholders, LED lights and storage for controllers and headphones.

You can't purchase any of the items in this collection, but you can win them. All that's needed is a simple retweet of any recent tweet from Xbox's Twitter account with the hashtag #TheMandalorianXboxSweepstakes. The contest runs through May 11 and is open globally. You can stream the third season of The Mandalorian on Disney+ now, and you need not worry about it ending any time soon as a fourth season has already been announced.

Currently, there's no The Mandalorian video game, but Star Wars fans can get their fix on Xbox Game Pass with titles like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The next Star Wars game to release will be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which is scheduled to release on April 28.

Elsewhere in the world of gaming, Fortnite is celebrating the release of Creed III with new Adonis Creed skins.
