WWE's John Cena leads Philadelphia 'Raw' crowd in rendition of 'Fly Eagles Fly'

In the Twin Cities on Monday, the Eagles and their fans were met with a hostile greeting from Vikings fans still salty over Minnesota’s loss in the NFC championship.

Back in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love lived up to its moniker.

WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” was in town, and before the show was over, star wrestler John Cena, ever the showman, played up to the home crowd with this rendition of Eagles fight song “Fly, Eagles Fly.”

While Cena made clear why he’s a wrestler and not a singer, the gesture was appreciated by the home crowd.

As the vast majority of the football-loving world is actively rooting against another Patriots Super Bowl win, this may be a familiar scene by the time the week is over.
