Jed Wyatt just implied that his ex-girlfriend Haley Stevens was using their cheating scandal to get fame.
Jed was dating Haley when he went on The Bachelorette and then ghosted her once he started dating Hannah Brown.
Just when you thought Jed Wyatt's life decisions couldn't get more questionable, he's out here accusing Haley Stevens—aka the girl he was dating during The Bachelorette—of profiting off their cheating scandal.
As a reminder, Jed told Haley he was only going on The Bachelorette to further his career, and spent the night with her before leaving for the show. Plus, he dropped the L-word via text message. You might think Jed would be in the midst of the world's most extra apology tour right now, but instead he showed up on Ali Fedotowsky and Rachel Lindsay’s “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and accused Haley of chasing headlines to advance her career.
“I know that she’s hurt, but I know also that there’s a good chance that she was seizing the opportunity as well,” he said. “What I don’t understand is if you really do love someone—no matter how promising they’ve made it seem—if they’re going on a dating show — regardless of why they’re going on a dating show—why would you stay with them? For me, if I was in a relationship, I would not have gone onto a dating show.”
