Developing technology to keep our devices charged has become the space race of the 21st century.

God forbid, we go without our iPhone, iPad, Android Watch or Google Glass when outlets become scarce (we’re looking at you Los Angeles International Airport).

Thankfully, designer Tommy Hilfiger is working diligently to address this problem with a $599 winter coat equipped with solar panels that will keep your phone charged at all times.

The jackets are made of wool and nylon and come with 7-10 solar panels on the back. According to Hilfiger the jacket has the ability to completely charge a cell phone.
