Whether they're school bullies, abusive parents, or ruthless henchmen, these characters are villains who are nothing short of awful. Here is the ranked list of the worst villains in Stranger Things.

10.Grigori
While Andrey Ivchenko gave a menacing performance as this Russian hitman, you can tell this guy was just a knock-off of Terminator. Devoid of any real emotions, Grigori mainly serves as an obstacle for Hopper and his allies as they try to stop the Russians' operation in Hawkins. We all loathe this assassin for what he did to poor Alexei (R.I.P.), but at least we got to see him get shredded into hamburger meat.
9.Jack Sullivan
This show doesn't hold back in making government agents look like jerks. Though Sullivan tries to end the chaos in Hawkins by capturing Eleven, this Lt. Colonel's callous methods make him just as bad as the monsters terrorizing the town. Watching him and his men torturing an innocent soldier to get answers out of him is almost unbearable, and it makes us all ache to see him get his comeuppance later in the season.
8.Tom Holloway
Holloway and his team of sexist journalists continuously mocked and mistreated Nancy as she worked for the Hawkins Post in Season 3, immediately making him one of the show’s most unlikeable characters. But even he doesn’t deserve the fate he was given, as he gets possessed by the Mind Flayer and is forced to its dark bidding, only to have his body melt and become part of some hideous monstrosity.
7.Jason Carver
After Chrissy’s murder at the hands of Vecna, Jason starts a manhunt for Eddie Munson, who’s framed for her death. However, the fact that he thinks a bunch of kids who play Dungeons & Dragons are Satanic murderers is ridiculous. Though his motives are understandable, his rage-induced vigilantism makes him a textbook example of toxic masculinity, misguided anger, and religious hysteria that makes him hard to sympathize with. Let’s just hope he and his mob don’t end up murdering Eddie later in Season 4.
6.Troy & James
These two boys are your generic middle school bullies, and they were just there to torment and threaten Mike and his friends in Season 1. After Eleven scared them off with her powers, they were never shown on-screen again, as there was no longer any use for them.
5.Connie Frazier
As one of Martin Brenner’s head lackeys, Frazier had no problem murdering and torturing innocent civilians to capture Eleven and maintain their secrecy. Her most notable wrongdoing was murdering Benny Hammond after he had taken care of lost and confused Eleven. Let’s just be glad Eleven melted her brain before she could hurt anyone else.
4.Larry Kline
This guy is your stereotypical corrupt politician that you just love to hate. Not only did Kline run Hawkins into the ground by conspiring with the Russian, but he's also just an awful human being with a very punchable face (no offense to Cary Elwes). So I guess we can't blame Hopper for beating the snot out of him.
3.Angela
Eleven’s annoying and phony new classmate bullies her on a daily basis, and she gets more insufferable with every scene she's in. Even after Eleven shares her sorrow over her dead dad, Angela mocks and humiliates her without an ounce of empathy. While I don’t condone Eleven’s violent actions, it is highly satisfying to watch her bash Angela’s smug face with that roller skate.
2.Lonnie Byers
This character is a human dumpster fire. Joyce's ex-husband is shown to be a selfish and abusive drunk with no real love for her or their kids. Lonnie doesn't even care that his 12-year-old son goes missing, and he only sticks around so he can sue the company that owns the quarry that Will supposedly drowned in. Though he did love Joyce at some point and had returned in her hour of need, all in all, Lonnie is about the worst husband and father on the show if it weren't for this next villain.
1.Neil Hagrove
Billy's dad, Neil, is the worst of the worst. In the short time that we see him on the show, Neil verbally and physically abuses his wife and son until they're all miserable, which drives Billy to continue the cycle of hate and violence. This character hasn't done anything to make him a good or likable character. He's just a clenched fist with a mustache. Let's just be glad that he was out of Max's life by the time Season 4 began. Goodbye, sir. You will not be missed.
