The World’s Biggest Indoor Skydiving Tunnel and Tallest Climbing Wall Are Opening in Abu Dhabi

Sports fans around the world will want to flock to a new indoor adventure facility in Abu Dhabi. Not only is the building a stunning example of modern design, but the activities inside are also breaking world records.

According to Lonely Planet, the world's biggest indoor skydiving chamber and tallest indoor climbing wall will open in Abu Dhabi on Nov. 29.

Clymb Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island, will feature two incredible indoor adventures that any ambitious thrill-seeker will want to try.

First, its indoor skydiving chamber will be the largest in the word, in terms of width. The chamber will measure 10 meters (32 feet) wide and 25 meters (82 feet) tall. According to Indoor Skydiving World, the current largest indoor skydiving chamber is at Hurricane Factory Berlin in Germany (tied for first with Weembi in France and Fly-In in Belgium). The chambers all measure at 17 feet in diameter.

Perhaps the best part of this thrilling new venue is that it will be able to cater to skydivers at all levels and visitors as young as three-years-old.

In addition, the facility will also be home to the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall, The Summyt. The wall will measure 43 meters (141 feet). According to Gear Junkie, the wall will have several areas to suit all climbing levels, including The Boulder (about 10 feet), The Beginner (20 feet), The Intermediate (32 feet), The Advanced (72 feet), and finally, the Summit itself at 141 feet.

The venue will also house lots of food and beverage options, event spaces, and retail, according to Lonely Planet.

According to Gear Junkie, tickets for climbing range between $25 and $50 while tickets for skydiving range between $60 and $200. Visitors who only want to watch can enter for free.

The venue is set to open at the end of November, but tickets are on sale now on the Clymb website.
