Woman calls deputies after man exposes himself in Grovetown Dollar General

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of exposing himself inside a Grovetown Dollar General.

On Saturday, a 29-year-old woman told deputies she was shopping at the Dollar General on Columbia Road in Grovetown when she noticed a man following her, according to an incident report.

The woman said when she turned down the laundry detergent aisle, she noticed the man was right behind her, according to the report. When she turned around, his genitals were exposed and he was pleasuring himself.

When the woman screamed, the man ran from the store toward the Ivy Falls neighborhood, according to the report. Deputies noted the man was described a white male, approximately 6-foot-4, wearing a blue jacket, gray pants and glasses.

A photograph and a video of the incident was taken into, according to the report.
