Wine pick: Seghesio Chardonnay 2021, California

The Seghesio family is one of the great winemaking families of Sonoma County. The winery dates back to 1895 and the family helped to pioneer the Zinfandel scene. This super tasty Chardonnay is restrained, balanced and full of California goodness. The wine starts out with aromas of orange, citrus, lemon and floral notes.

Flavors of ripe pears, toasted almonds and hints of citrus follow on the finish with a touch of richness. The wine is super balanced and well rounded. Pair with – baked Halibut, grilled salmon, spice rubbed pork tenderloin or with some Camembert cheese. $22.99
