Willie Graham Memorial Car Show returns to Lamar

LAMAR, Mo. — An annual car show makes its return to Lamar this morning.

The fourth annual Willie Graham Memorial Car Show was in full swing at the Barton County Memorial Park.

The event is named in honor of Willie Graham – a former member of the Lamar Cruise Night who passed away four years ago from COVID.

Classic cars and trucks lined the streets. Visitors could buy freshly grilled hamburgers, chips, and drinks. T-shirts and keychains were for sale.

All the money earned from today goes back into the Barton County Memorial Park.

“It’s for a good cause, not only for Willie Graham but the money goes back into the park and it’s just a way to check out really cool cars and meet people, I think that’s the biggest thing. Fellowship is the number one thing,” said Gordon Godfrey, President Lamar Cruise Night.

Lamar Cruise Night’s car show has raised more than 10 thousand dollars for the Barton County Memorial Park.
