Channel 4's hit show, It's A Sin, is one of the best pieces of telly we've watched for a while.
Russell T Davies' five part mini-series dropped on All4 last month and has fully captured the nation's hearts thanks to its empowering, educational and honest portrayal of LGBTQ+ history, and the UK's HIV and AIDS crisis of the 1980s.
While many people were gutted to discover the series was meant to be a few episodes longer, you'll be even more upset to hear that there's not going to be a follow up or second series.
Despite the incredible success of the show, Davies explained It's A Sin was only ever meant to be a standalone mini-series, and that everything he wanted to portray about the topic. "There isn't a second season," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
"[Working on the show] was lovely. It said everything I wanted to say. The only long-running thing I've ever done is Doctor Who and that's because Doctor Who is designed to be long running."
Speaking of what he'll do next, Russell continued, "I will start writing. I don't know how I follow something like It's a Sin. I look at my career and I'm a bit puzzled on when I became such a tragedian, when I'm a really big laugh actually."
Well if he ever wants to do a follow up, we'll be ready and waiting.
It's a Sin is available to watch now on Channel 4.
