Following the release of Selena Gomez's documentary My Mind and Me, the singer appears to be feuding with her kidney donor Francia Raisa on social media.

The film, which was released on Apple TV+ on Friday [4th November] charts the last six years of 30-year-old Selena's life, including her battle with lupus disease which ultimately resulted in her needing a kidney transplant.

Back in 2017, fellow actor Raisa, now 34, donated one of her kidneys, and the pair underwent the difficult transplant process. While some of Selena's health struggles are documented in Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me, Raisa is never mentioned by name, and speculation about a rift between the two has now spilled online.

Last week, Selena's interview with Rolling Stone magazine was released, in which she touched on her experience with the entertainment industry. "I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities," she commented. "My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift]."

After E News shared the snippet of the interview on their Instagram grid with the caption, "This friendship? It comes naturally.", Francia left a comment which simply read "Interesting."

Many are taking this as a sign the Grown-Ish and How I Met Your Father actor feels snubbed by Selena, not least because she then unfollowed her on Instagram.

Selena has since responded to the feud speculation with a now-deleted comment on TikTok, which read, "Sorry I didn't mention every person I know."

Back in 2017, Selena shared a photo alongside Francia after the kidney transplant, along with a caption which read, "There aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis."

These two have been through a lot together, so here's to hoping they sort it out behind closed doors.
