Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has just gotten over a cold, and now her baby, Isabella, has it. So when I ask her how she fits her beauty and wellness routine into her day, she levels with me: “It doesn’t happen every day. I’m, like all of us, spinning many plates. My son is five and my daughter is coming up on nine months—let's be realistic, there's not a lot of me-time. It’s a juggle and I’m really lucky because I have a village and a supportive partner that is super hands on as well.”

Fair. But on days when everyone is feeling well, what does she prioritize? “I love to workout and I love a spa day. Those are the things that allow me to come back down to earth and feel restored and much more in control of my life,” she says.

It was one afternoon at the spa, a few months after having her daughter, when Huntington-Whiteley discovered her latest wellness obsession. She’d stepped out of the sauna and eyed the cold plunge pool. “Jason [Statham, Rosie’s partner] had been banging on about doing cold plunges for years and I’d always thought, there’s no way,” she explained. But that day her point of view changed. “I thought, it can’t be as bad as childbirth! I got in—I could barely breathe—but this amazing rush came over me, the kind you don’t really feel any other way. It was very exhilarating.” Now, she says she’s hooked, quickly graduating from ten second plunges to sixty second plunges within days. She's been doing plunges several times a week ever since.

“I like to finish my shower in the morning and the evening with a good thirty second cold rinse too,” she says. “It’s good for post-baby when you’re looking for ways to feel a little more lifted and tight and you just want anything that makes you feel back to normal.”

There are a few other things that help the model feel more like herself. “I should probably say that I feel best when I have no makeup on and I’m in the arms of my partner and with my children. But if I’m really honest, I feel most like myself when I’ve got a bit of makeup on, I’ve done my hair, I’ve got a good outfit on, and I feel ready for the world. That’s the truth.”

Her go-to outfit is a good boot and a blazer—“can’t beat it,” she insists—and her bit of makeup is, naturally, all from her clean beauty line. She launched Rose Inc. in 2021 and it has quickly become a favorite amongst beauty lovers. The brand's tinted serum has been praised all over social media and products regularly sell out. “If I had to choose just one to make an impact, it would be Blush Divine. It can be worn on the cheeks and the mouth and I even dab a bit onto my lids,” she says.

But if she has more time she’ll reach for one of her new eye shadows and mascara. “Each shadow has a cream and a shimmer. During the day I just wear the shimmer. In the evening, I apply the cream and then the shimmer on top,” she says. “I’m also pleased with my mascara. It’s really black and separates and lifts the lashes.”

If there’s one thing Huntington-Whiteley knows for sure, it’s that her family comes first. Still, she’s cautious when we start to talk about parenting. “I'm a new mom and I don't like to come across preachy,” she explains, but she does offer one tidbit of advice. “After I gave birth to my son, the doctor came in to check on everyone. She was a lovely lady and as she left the room, she turned to me and said, remember there are many great ways to raise a child. I think about that a lot. The amount of information we get as parents is overwhelming. On one hand it’s amazing, but on the other it can cause you to question whether you’re doing something right or wrong. My advice: don’t be too influenced.”
