Lady Gaga isn't making her return to the award show circuit just yet, nor is she reuniting with Bradley Cooper on tonight's American Music Awards red carpet. Despite her and Cooper's two nominations, the stars opted not to attend the AMAs. This isn't surprising: They also skipped the MTV VMAs in August.

Their duet "Shallow" is nominated for Best Collaboration. They are up against Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' “Old Town Road,” Marshmello and Bastille's “Happier,” Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's “Señorita,” and Post Malone and Swae Lee's “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)." And their A Star Is Born soundtrack is up for Favorite Soundtrack against Bohemian Rhapsody and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's soundtracks.

Gaga's last big red carpet was the Met Gala back in May, where she had multiple outfit changes. Earlier this week, A Star Is Born received three Grammy nominations, and the singer acknowledged her excitement on Instagram.

"I am overwhelmed with joy that our work on A Star Is Born continues to be recognized over a year after it was released," she wrote. "THANK U @recordingacademy for the 3 Grammy nominations today!! 😭 This is me and my engineer, and co-producer of “Shallow”, Ben Rice on July 9, 2018 when we turned in the final master for the soundtrack. And it’s the exact same mood that I have today finding out we were nominated for best compilation soundtrack, song of the year, and best song written for visual media (the song categories for two years in a row 🎉)! I love you all, thank you for the love and support!"
