At the end of a long day, sometimes the best way to feel like you're living your best life is with some comfy PJ's, a glass of wine, and gratuitous reality television. In our series "Not-So-Guilty Pleasures," we remove the "guilt" and break down the latest happenings in your favorite TV indulgences.

  • Week 11's Thursday night live show marks Big Brother 21's anticipated double eviction episode.

  • We have spoilers ahead as we predict who'll be evicted first (Cliff or Jess), and who'll be the target after the night's HOH competition.

Next to the series finale, Double Eviction Night is probably the most anticipated show of the entire Big Brother season. And y'all, it's finally here, officially happening on the Thursday, September 5 live show. If there's any night to "expect the unexpected," it's this one.

For the uninitiated, here's why double evictions are basically one of the best things about the game. First off, Julie Chen blindsides the houseguests with the news near the top hour of the show. The host reveals that as usual, they'll evict one of the nominated houseguests that night. But after that, the remaining players will play a week's worth of Big Brother in less than an hour. That means an HOH competition, nominations, the Veto competition, the Veto ceremony, and a second eviction all happen live before the host can say her signature sign off: "I'm Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight."

Yes, it's so intense it'll get your heart-pumping. But you get to see how the cast reacts under pressure—with little time to strategize and talk amongst each other—while also suffering through the unpredictability of who will come out on top, and who'll be walking out the doors of the Big Brother 21 house.

So, who will be evicted first Thursday night?

As with any double-eviction, it's hard to say. But we can speculate. Currently (major spoilers ahead) after Tommy won this week's Veto competition, he used it on Christie, saving her from the block. As HOH, Jackson (aka Michie) then nominated Cliff in her place, putting the 53-year-old petroleum engineer as a replacement nominee next to Jess.

With Jess and Cliff up for eviction, Michie and Holly want the model to go home, as they're aligned with Cliff. However, Christie and Tommy see Cliff as a bigger threat and want Jess to stay. This puts Nicole in the deciding position, as she's friends with everyone in the house and must choose which side would be better for her game moving forward. As of print, time, nearly everyone in the game is trying to sway Nicole in their favor.

Yes, the preschool aide holds a ton of power at the moment.

Who will win HOH, and who will be their target for double eviction?

We literally have no possible way of predicting the HOH. What we do know? Tommy, Christie, and Jess have said their targets are Holly and Michie because they want to split up the showmance.

On the other hand, Holly and Michie have both said they're planning to throw the next HOH. (Yeah, we know). But if we ignore that, they've mentioned Tommy as a threat, have a long-standing rivalry with Christie, and see an easy target in Jess who they have no solid ties with. Both Nicole and Cliff seem to jump to whichever side makes them feel safest, so their HOHs would be the most unpredictable. However, pending the results of the first eviction (and the next 24 hours) everything we just said could be meaningless come Thursday night.

Who do fans want to win HOH?

If you take a look at the poll on Jokers Updates, Nicole is currently ranked as the favorite player, with Cliff in second place. The cast members that follow have all been evicted, until you get to Jackson who's ranked eighth. So it's safe to say that those three would please the crowd, with Nicole taking a big lead.

Yeah, it's about to get crazy, but that's why we love Big Brother. And to all the fans anxiously awaiting Thursday night, have a happy (and sure-to-be-stressful) Double Eviction Night. We can't wait for the chaos!
