Why I Didn't Let My Career Ending Injury Define Me

The phrase "career-ending injury" is likely every athlete's worst nightmare. Angela Gargano first tore her left ACL in 2010 as a collegiate gymnast with little to no chance of a full recovery. Six months later, she was able to compete again, but not at the level she wanted. So she turned to fitness competitions instead. Today, she holds several World Fitness titles and has competed in American Ninja Warrior. But during the competition, she tore her other ACL.
