Topping today's round up of things-that-made-us-feel-old, Miley Cyrus' iconic track, "7 Things", turned 13. To celebrate, the singer took to Instagram to share a post... and tagged ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

While tagging your ex in a post on Instagram might seem like the end of the world for most of us, Miley obviously sees it very differently. So what's the deal?

"7 Things" was released in 2008, and fans suspected the track was about Miley's ex (and fellow Disney star) Nick. Miley and Nick dated from 2006 to 2008, and not too long after the couple split, Nick was romantically linked to Selena Gomez.

Speaking of the breakup in her autobiography, Miles to Go, Miley said: "I was angry when I wrote '7 Things.' I wanted to punish him [Nick], to get back at him for hurting me."

"It starts with a list of what I 'hate.' But I'm not a hater. My heart knew from the start that it was going to turn into a love song," she added.

Thankfully, we can assume Miley is well over the love triangle by now. She poked fun at the situ in her Instagram post and shared a gif of her and Selena dancing to the song at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. She also included a screenshot referencing today's equivalent of "7 Things" – Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U".

Fans were quick to spot that Miley had tagged her ex. "The tag of Nick i’m SCREAMING" commented one Instagram user, "OMG the fact that you tagged Nick" said another.

Nick is yet to respond to the post, so let's hope he saw the funny side of it.
